Employee Wellbeing

The SFSU prides itself in ensuring the wellbeing of its employees. A lot of work has been put in to create, develop and maintain strong relationships with various organisations who provide services that can benefit our staff in endless ways.

Below, you can find the different organisations available to offer the best support for our staff.

If you are interested in joining any of our wellbeing schemes or have any general queries, feel free to contact our HR department via email or phone:

Join Us on the Menopause Journey

We invite you to explore the Menopause resources available in this section. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. By fostering understanding, empathy, and open communication, we can create a workplace where everyone feels supported and valued, regardless of the life stage they are in.

As a reminder, our Employee Assistance helpline can also provide support.  The freephone number is 0800 028 0199.

Please speak to your line manager/HR if you are experiencing symptoms of menopause to ensure we can offer you the correct support.

The Regional Workforce Wellbeing Network has been working across organisations over Covid-19 to coordinate and share resources, strategies and supports in order to best support each other during this very challenging time. We are continuing to work post-covid, as part of the Healthier Workplaces, to keep the needs of staff support to the fore.

A range of resources have been developed by the Network and we hope that they might be helpful for all our colleagues across organisations and teams; and also to use individually. These include a Covid Recovery Toolkit , a Recovery infographic and slides which can be accessed on the Staff Health and Wellbeing SharePoint.
