About The Event
This course aims to provide participants with an understanding of the correct technique in the general administration of injections and a brief overview of the emergency management of anaphylaxis.
Following this training, delegates would need to be supervised administering injections in their workplace, until deemed competent by their supervisor.
By the end of the session, participants will have:
Developed an understanding of the related anatomical features of the circulatory, muscular and nervous systems.
Studied the current guidance and best practice in administering injections.
Discussed storage of injections (including cold chain), holding, consent and recording.
Observed the administration of injections and have the opportunity to practice, using a simulated device.
