Learning Outcomes

 Describe, in general terms, the different types of cardiovascular diseases, making clear the difference between the terms cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and coronary heart disease (CHD)  Discuss screening for CVD in Primary Care including risk calculation

 Describe the risk factors for Cardiovascular disease

 Discuss the indications for and interpretation of 24hr BP monitoring  Discuss the management and follow-up of patients with Heart Failure
