About The Event
Northern Ireland Hospice launched its three year strategy from 2018-2021 in June of this year. In response to this strategy the organisation has focused its future plans around the two core objectives of the charity, that being the provision of high quality person centred specialist palliative care coupled with best in class education and research which provides a sound evidence base for the delivery of palliative care.
The traditional model of education previously delivered by the Hospice has been reviewed and reconfigured in line with the Regional HSC Partnerships in Palliative Care programme. Over the past six months we have reviewed our education content and re-examined our research ambitions which have resulted in the Board of Trustees affirming their commitment to the furtherance of palliative care education.
It is our ambition to share the expertise of the Northern Ireland Hospice with the wider health and social care sector including statutory, primary, independent and other providers with the necessary expertise to ensure that anyone living in Northern Ireland receives high quality person centred care at the end of their life. During the launch we will be sharing our new brand of the Academy and introducing our new prospectus of learning programmes.
Thank you very much for considering this request, please RSVP to Anne Rogan email firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel. 028 9078 1836 ext. 4826 by Monday 3 September.
