Men's Health GP Workshop
Time & Location
About The Event
This is a case study based learning day to develop effective strategies for diagnosing and managing men's health conditions. The meeting has been developed by GPs for GPs who wish to know more about men's health. Focus will be on the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of men's health conditions including sexual, prostatic, mental health, testosterone deficiency and metabolic syndrome. All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the new evidence based UK men's health guidelines for GPs.
The facilitators of the case based discussions will be members of the Primary Care Testosterone Advisory Group (PCTAG).
The Primary Care Testosterone Advisory Group is made up of doctors passionate about men's health. In particular they recognise the under diagnosis and impact of low testosterone on the body and mind.
The group is comprised of urologists, sexual medicine and metabolic specialists from primary and secondary care backgrounds. These members speak at conferences around the UK and abroad on the topic of men's health, sexual function and more specifically testosterone.
